How I became a Christian:
I've always known about God's love and Jesus' gift of salvation. My parents were leaders in church and even helped start a church when I was young. So at 9 years old, after coming home from a "fire and brimstone" revival, I ran down the stairs and announced to them that I wanted the Holy Spirit inside me so nothing bad could get in! I remember talking with our preacher, going forward in church service, and getting baptized in the pool. We were meeting in a YMCA at the time.
