IRON WORKS

Velocity Men: Are you tough enough for some practical Friday morning Christian fellowship? If so, Ironworks is for you.

Ironworks is committed to creating an environment where men can truly be made strong. Strength through honest and meaningful examination of our lives, through fostering of meaningful relationships and a fulfillment that only comes from faithful service to others.

This dynamic men's ministry resumes its Fall schedule on Friday morning, September 28. Our theme will be Band of Brothers.

Ironworks exists to challenge men on this fundamental level - what is your life actually about? For what purpose did God uniquely create you? Are you engaged in the battle or have you decided to run and hide? Who are your fighting companions? And who's got your back in this fight?

Ironworks is a place to take a time out from the madness, focus on what's real and build relationships with your countrymen who can help you be the man God made you to be. We'll meet at the Velocity Ministry Center, 3921 Deep Rock Rd.

Giving Back

Last Spring, the men of Ironworks started their first service project and made some great headway.

We continued over several weekends with insulation and sheetrock.

This family was so in need of the space that they talked about putting sleeping bags up there after we left the first Saturday - just so they could have a bit more room to sleep.

There is no experience on this Earth like the experience of selfless love and service that is represented by this type of project.  Acts like these give us a front row seat and experience of what it is like to love like Christ loves us.

If you weren't able to participate in this project, I truly hope that you will consider the next one – you will not regret it.
