Great Day of Service

Meet at Ministry Center 10:00 AM - coffee/donuts, 10:30 AM - orientation/communion
On April 11, Velocity will "cancel" our regular Sunday morning worship service and spend the morning being the "hands & feet" of Christ in our community. After meeting briefly for communion and prayer at the Ministry Center at 10:30 AM we'll head out in groups to work on a variety of useful service projects together. Rather than "doing" church that day, we'll get to "BE" the church in a special way.

Wanted: A Child After God's Own Heart
Ground Zero is our convention designed just for the pre-teen in grades four and five. Join over 500 other pre-teens from across Virginia for a weekend designed to engage these students at their level. Interactive worship, exciting speakers, hands-on workshops and much more. This is a great weekend that will allow you a chance to spend time with your students in an environment other than the classroom. Cost $75 and includes registration, hotel and meals.
